Thursday Verse ~ Heaven Departed

“And heauen departed away, as a scroule [scroll], when it is rolled, and euery mountaine and yle [island] were mooued [moved] out of their places” (Revelation 6:14 1587 Geneva Version). 

Father, is this imagery for Your disdain of idol worship that Israel became known for in king Josiah’s day? [Jeramiah 3:6] Please help us to see and cast away all idols in our lives , because You and You alone are to be worshiped and praised. Through Christ’s holy name we ask. Thank You~
