“‘For herein is the saying true, that one sows, and an other reaps. I sent you to reap that, whereon ye bestowed [did] no labour: other men labored, and ye are entered into their labors.’ Now many of the Samaritans of that city believed in him [Christ], for the saying of the woman [at the well] which testified, ‘He hath […]

“Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then comes harvest? Behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the regions: for they are white already unto harvest. And he that reaps, receives reward, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal, that both he that sows, and he that reaps, might rejoice […]

“Then said ye disciples between themselves, ‘Hath any man brought him meat? Jesus said unto them, ‘My meat is that I may do the will of him [Father God] that sent me, and finish his work’” (John 4:33, 34 [1587 Geneva Version].  Father, if You had not sent Your Son to die for our sins, we Gentiles for certain […]

“Then they [disciples] went out of the city, and came unto him [Jesus]. In the meanwhile, the disciples prayed him, saying, ‘Master, eat.’ But he said unto them, ‘I have meat to eat that ye know not of’” (John 4:30-32 [1587 Geneva Version].  Father, Christ is the bread of life. “Now when the Lord knew how the Pharisees had heard, that Jesus made and baptized more disciples then John, (Though Jesus himself baptized not: but his disciples) He [Jesus] left Judea, and departed again into Galilee” (John 4:1-3 [1587 Geneva Version].  Father, you are not the author of confusion. Two previous verses read that Jesus baptized, yet this […]

“The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand. He that believeth in the Son, hath everlasting life, and he that obeys not the Son, shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him” (John 3:35, 36 [1587 Geneva Version]).  Father, even Satan believes who You are but disobeyed […]

“He [Jesus] must increase, but I [John the Baptist] must decrease. He [Jesus] that is come from on high, is above all: he [John] that is of the earth, is of the earth, and speaketh of the earth: he that is come from heaven, is above all” (John 3:30, 31 [1587 Geneva Version]).  Father, John the Baptist had a purpose and […]
