Friday Verses ~ Baptized More Disciples
“Now when the Lord knew how the Pharisees had heard, that Jesus made and baptized more disciples then John, (Though Jesus himself baptized not: but his disciples) He [Jesus] left Judea, and departed again into Galilee” (John 4:1-3 [1587 Geneva Version].
Father, you are not the author of confusion. Two previous verses read that Jesus baptized, yet this one says he did not. Please help us to understand. In Christ’s holy name we ask. Thank You~

Hi Jean, doesn’t that just mean that he delegated the water baptism to his disciples? They were alarmed (Pharasees) that his movement (Jesus) had more people baptized than John (the Baptist) had baptized. And they were likely going to stir up trouble, so Jesus left Judea.
Yes, it certainly could mean this. When I read two places that He baptized and one place that He did not, I have to question, pray, and study further. It is so very good to hear from you, my friend! I tried calling you weeks ago. Calll me if you want to catch up. My number is the same.
