Friday Verses ~ Baptized More Disciples

“Now when the Lord knew how the Pharisees had heard, that Jesus made and baptized more disciples then John, (Though Jesus himself baptized not: but his disciples) He [Jesus] left Judea, and departed again into Galilee” (John 4:1-3 [1587 Geneva Version]. 

Father, you are not the author of confusion. Two previous verses read that Jesus baptized, yet this one says he did not. Please help us to understand. In Christ’s holy name we ask. Thank You~
