Monday Verses ~ Merchants of These

“The marchants of these thinges which were waxed riche, shall stand a farre [far] off from her, for feare of her torment, weeping and wayling [wailing], And saying, Alas, alas, that great citie [city], that was clothed in fine linnen and purple, and skarlet, and gilded with gold, and precious stones, and pearles [pearls]” (Rev. 18:15, 16 [1587 Geneva Version]). 

Father, this world is not our home. We are just passing through. Please remind us of this daily until it embeds in our hearts. In Jesus Christ’s holy name we ask. Thank You~
