Monday Verses ~ Give Me Drink

“And he [Jesus] must needs go through Samaria. Then came he to a city of Samaria called Sychar, near unto the possession that Jacob gave to his son Joseph. And there was Jacobs well. Jesus then wearied in the journey, sat thus on the well: it was about the sixth hour. There came a woman of Samaria to draw water. Jesus said unto her, ‘Give me drink'” (John 4:4-7 [1587 Geneva Version]).

Father, even though Your Son is God, in the flesh he suffered as human bodies suffer. Your plan for the saving of souls is perfect as You are Perfect. In Christ’s holy name we are joyful. Hallelujah~
