Friday Verses ~ Walk in the Spirit

“For they that are Christes, haue crucified the flesh with the affections and the lustes [lusts]. If we liue in the Spirit, let vs also walke in the Spirit. Let vs not be desirous of vaine glorie, prouoking [provoking] another, enuying [envying] one another” (Galatians 5:24-26 1587 Geneva Version). 

Father, we understand once we become Disciples: we have confessed we are sinners, we claim Christ is our Savior, and we are buried into the waters of baptism, we then take on the life of Christ. We live in the Spirit. We then study Your Word on how to walk the path of Your Son to keep ourselves pure from the world. Through Christ’s holy name we are glad. Hallelujah~
