“Then there arose a question between John’s disciples and the Jews, about purifying. And they came unto John, and said unto him, ‘Rabbi, he that was with thee beyond Jorden, to whom thou barest witness, behold, he baptizes, and all men come to him’” (John 3:25, 26 [1587 Geneva Version]).  Father, some of us have heard […]

“John also was baptizing at Aenon near Salim, because water was plentiful there, and people were coming and being baptized (for John had not yet been put in prison)” (John 3:23, 24 [1587 Geneva Version]).  Father, You make it plain here that when one is baptized it is a dunking into the water. Thank You for […]

“After this Jesus and his disciples went into the Judean countryside, and he remained there with them and was baptizing” (John 3:22 [1587 Geneva Version]).  Father, Your Son is God come down from heaven to take away the sins of those who believe and trust in You. In Christ’s holy name we are joyful. Hallelujah~

“He that believes in him, is not condemned: but he that believes not, is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the Name of that only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that that light came into the world, and men loved darkness rather then that light, because their deeds were evil” (John […]

Christ was the perfect sacrifice, the lamb of God. In His holy name we […]

“For God so loved the world, that he hath given his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him, should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16 [1587 Geneva Version]).  Father God, thank You for speaking plainly. Help us to never stray from Your Word and Your will. In Christ’s holy name we ask. Hallelujah~

“Marvel not that I said to thee, ‘Ye must be born again’. The wind blows where it listeth [wishes], and thou hears the sound thereof [of it], but can not tell whence[from where] it comes, and whither [where] it goes: so is every man that is born of the Spirit” (John 3:7, 8 [1587 Geneva Version]).  Father, we cannot see the Holy […]

“As soon therefore as he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered what he [Christ] had said vnto them: and they believed the Scripture, and the word which Jesus had said” (John 2:22 [1587 Geneva Version]). Father, You show us the truth of Your word if we would study it and live by Your word daily. […]
