Wednesday Verses ~ Finish His Work

“Then said ye disciples between themselves, ‘Hath any man brought him meat? Jesus said unto them, ‘My meat is that I may do the will of him [Father God] that sent me, and finish his work'” (John 4:33, 34 [1587 Geneva Version].

Father, if You had not sent Your Son to die for our sins, we Gentiles for certain would still be in our sins and eternal hell would be our fate. In Christ’s holy name we are grateful. Thank You~
