Wednesday Verses ~ Twelve Pearls

“The fifth [foundation] of a Sardonyx: the sixth of a Sardius: the seueth of a Chrysolite: the eight of a Beryl: the ninth of a Topaz: the tenth of a Chrysoprase: the eleuenth of a Jacynth: the twelfth an Amethyst. And the twelue gates were twelue pearls, and euery gate is of one pearl, and the street of the city is pure gold, as shining glass” (Rev. 21:20, 21 [1587 Geneva Version]).
