Wednesday Verses ~ Full of Abominations

And the woman was arayed [arrayed] in purple & skarlet [scarlet], and gilded with golde, and precious stones, and pearles, and had a cup of gold in her hand, full of abominations, and filthines [filthiness] of her fornication. And in her forehead was a name written, A mysterie [mystery], that great Babylon, that mother of whoredomes, and abominations of the earth” (Rev. 17:4, 5 [1587 Geneva Version]). 

Father, Your judgments are pure and holy. When people and nations slander and curse You, as a jealous God You will take revenge. Please help us to spread the Gospel when we have opportunity. In Christ’s holy name we ask. Thank You~
