Tuesday Verses ~ Great God

“And I saw an Angel stand in the sun, who cryed with a loud voyce, saying to all the foules [fowls] that did fly by the middes [midst] of heauen, ‘Come, and gather your selues together vnto the supper of ye great God, That ye may eat the flesh of Kings, and the flesh of hie Captains and the flesh of mightie men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all freemen, and bondmen, and of small and great’. And I sawe the beast, and the Kings of the earth, and their hosts gathered together to make battell [battle] against him [Christ] that sat on the horse, and against his armie [army]” (Rev. 19:17-19 [1587 Geneva Version]).
