“And thou wast burdened, & hast patiece [patience], and for my Names sake hast laboured, & hast not fainted. Neuertheles, I haue somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first loue [love]” (Revelation 2:3, 4 1587 Geneva Version).
Father, have too many people left their first love means Your Son? Is not the first love for doing all things in love and not for the sake of going through the motions as so many institutions practice who call themselves followers of You? Please give us clarity, Lord God. If we but ask. You Will. Through Christ’s holy name we pray. Thank You~
