Thursday Verses

“‘. . . and from among your own selves will arise men speaking twisted things, to draw away the disciples after them. Therefore be alert, remembering that for three years I [Paul] did not cease night or day to admonish every one with tears'” (Acts 20:30, 31 ESV). 

Father, emotion like Paul experienced is more than okay. He loved his disciples. He loved the Church of Jesus. Help us Lord, to have deep emotion for our fellow Believers. To place others above our own selves. In Jesus’ holy name, we ask. Amen
