“If any leade [lead] [someone] into captiuitie[captivity], hee shall go into captiuitie: if any kill with a sword, he must be killed by a sword: here is the patience and the faith of the Saints” (Revelation 13:10 [1587 Geneva Version]).
Father, from this we learn no one will escape harsh punishment when they do evil unto others. Please, Lord, give us patience when we are hurt by others or others hurt our loved ones. Teach us to pray for our enemies in love and compassion. Through Christ’s holy name we ask. Thank You~
