“And to them [locusts] was comanded that they should not kil [kill] them, but that they should be vexed fiue [five]moneths [months], & that their paine should be as the paine that commeth of a scorpion, when he hath stung a man. Therefore in those dayes shall men seeke death, and shall not finde it, and shall desire to die, and death shall flie [flee] from them” (Revelation 9:5, 6 1587 Geneva Version).
Father, we trust Your holy Word. Scripture will be understood by us when we are ready to digest it as each of us are in various stages of our spiritual growth. Please help us to stay focused and, not discouraged, to always study Your Word in prayer. Through Christ’s holy name we ask. Thank You~
