Monday Verses ~ Sweet as Honey

“And the voyce [voice] which I heard from heauen, spake vnto me againe, and said, ‘Go and take the litle [little] booke which is open in the hand of the Angel, which standeth vpon the sea and vpon the earth’. So I went vnto the Angel, and saide to him, ‘Giue me the litle booke’; he said vnto me, ‘Take it, and eate it vp [up], and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shalbe in thy mouth as sweete as honie [honey]‘” (Revelation 10:8, 9 1587 Geneva Version). 

Father, more than a few paths You take us on are difficult, even horrific, but the gifts at the end are sweet as honey. Please help us to never give up in serving and obeying You. Through Christ’s holy name we ask. Hallelujah~
