Monday Verses ~ Second Beast

“And he [second beast] did great wonders, so that hee made fire to come downe from heauen on the earth, in the sight of men. And deceiued them that dwell on the earth by the signes, which were permitted to him to doe in the sight of the [first] beast, saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make the image of the [first] beast, which had the wound of a sword, and did liue [live]” (Revelation 13:13, 14 [1587 Geneva Version]). 

Father, beasts could mean countries or powers or positions of power. Help us to understand so that we have eyes to see and ears to hear. In Christ’s holy name we ask. Thank You~
