“And if any man wil hurt them [two Witnesses], fire proceedeth out of their mouthes, and deuoureth [devour] their enemies: for if any man would hurt them, thus must he be killed. These haue power to shut heauen, that it raine not in the dayes of their prophecying, and haue power ouer waters to turne them into blood, and to smite the earth with all maner plagues, as often as they will” (Revelation 11:5, 6 1587 Geneva Version).
Father, help us to understand You are God and we are not. Humble our hearts before You that we may have Your strength and courage each day. Through Christ’s holiness we ask. Thank You~
