“This say I, brethren, that flesh & blood cannot inherite the kingdome of God, neither doeth corruption inherite incorruption” (1 Corinthians 15:50 1587 Geneva Bible). Father, please keep us from corrupt thoughts and actions so we may be with You forever in Heaven. Through Christ’s holy name we ask. Hallelujah~

“And thus are the secrets of his [new Believer] heart made manifest; and so falling down on his face he will worship God, and report that God is in you of a truth” (1 Corinthians 14:25 KJV).  Father, simple words in Your Word. Please help us to keep learning Your Truth. As You say in […]

“And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing. Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up.” (1 Corinthians 13:3, 4 KJV). Father, we need Your Word […]

“For he [Lord God] saith to Moses, ‘I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion’. So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy” (Romans 9:15, 16 KJV). Father, You are […]

“And a young man named Eutychus, sitting at the window, sank into a deep sleep as Paul talked still longer. And being overcome by sleep, he fell down from the third story and was taken up dead. But Paul went down and bent over him, and taking him in his arms, said, ‘Do not be alarmed, […]

“And even some of the Asiarchs, who were friends of his [Paul’s], sent to him and were urging him not to venture into the theater. Now some [the crowd] cried out one thing, some another, for the assembly was in confusion, and most of them did not know why they had come together” (Acts 19:31, 32 ESV).  […]

“For a man named Demetrius, a silversmith, who made silver shrines of Artemis [an idol], brought no little business to the craftsmen. These he gathered together, with the workmen in similar trades, and said, ‘Men, you know that from this business we have our wealth’” (Acts 19:24, 25 ESV).  Father, even today there are many idols. Some […]
