Thursday Verses

“And as they [the crowd] were seeking to kill him [Paul], word came to the tribune of the cohort that all Jerusalem was in confusion. He at once took soldiers and centurions and ran down to them. And when they [the crowd] saw the tribune and the soldiers, they stopped beating Paul” (Acts 21:31, 32 ESV).

Father, we want to say “Poor Paul” but really, we all will suffer tongue lashings and worse for standing for You and Your Word. We must be the mouth of Jesus, the feet of Jesus to scatter Your Word. In Jesus’ holy name, we ask. Amen
