Friday Verses

“Then the tribune came up and arrested him [Paul] and ordered him to be bound with two chains. He [tribunal] inquired who he was and what he had done. Some in the crowd were shouting one thing, some another. And as he could not learn the facts because of the uproar, he ordered him to be brought into the barracks” (Acts 21:33, 34 ESV). 

Father, step by step, Paul was being persecuted. Please make us full of courage in spirit as You made Paul. But we have to be willing as Paul as our first step. In Jesus’ holy name, we ask. Amen
