Wednesday Verses

“I [Paul] say the truth in Christ, I lie not, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Ghost, that I have great heaviness and continual sorrow in my heart. For I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh” (Romans 9:1-3 KJV).

Father, do we have such sorrow for the people we love who do not have Christ in their whole heart and soul? Please, Lord, help to remind us when we pray to pray for those who are not Believers yet. And to always pray for those Believers who are suffering. Please help us to remember all can come to the cross of Christ and be saved. In Jesus’ holy name, we ask. Amen
