Tuesday Verses~Have We Not Power

“Mine answer to them that do examine me is this, Have we not power to eat and to drink? Have we not power to lead about a sister, a wife, as well as other apostles, and as the brethren of the Lord, and Cephas [Peter, who was married]” (1 Corinthians 9:3-5 KJV)?

Father, we do have power to live a life as married or not. We understand Paul chose not to, and Peter was already married when he followed Jesus. Your Word is full of wisdom and love. Through Christ’s holy name we are grateful. Hallelujah~
