Thursday Verses ~ Children of the Promise

“Therefore, brethren, wee are after the manner of Isaac, children of the promise. But as then hee that was borne after the flesh [Ishmael], persecuted him that was borne after the Spirit, euen so it is nowe” (Galatians 4:28, 29 1587 Geneva Version). 

Father, Your holy Word is complete and filled with promise. Even so today as in the past, we see Your promises at work in lives. Through Christ’s holy name we are glad. Hallelujah!
