Thursday Verses

“For a man named Demetrius, a silversmith, who made silver shrines of Artemis [an idol], brought no little business to the craftsmen. These he gathered together, with the workmen in similar trades, and said, ‘Men, you know that from this business we have our wealth'” (Acts 19:24, 25 ESV). 

Father, even today there are many idols. Some of us have more than others. Some have done away with all idols. Please, Lord, help us to seek Your wisdom on any idols in our lives as there can be no other gods before You. In Jesus’ holy name, we ask. Amen
