Thursday Verses

“And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and [you] doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God? Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance” (Roman 2:3, 4 KJV)?

Father God, yes, You do lead us to repentance when we sin. Help us to see our sorrows and trials as they are: allowed by You to humble our hearts. In Jesus’ holy name we ask. Amen
