“And lest I should be exalted out of measure through the aboundance of reuelations, there was giuen vnto me a pricke in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet mee, because I should not be exalted out of measure” (2 Corinthians 12:7 1587 Geneva Version).
Father, Paul is showing us through his experience that You allow things to happen to us to keep us humble. We can and do pray for things not of a spiritual need, but sometimes You say no for our spiritual benefit. Through Christ’s holy name we trust You. Hallelujah~
