Thursday Verse ~ Persecuted the Church

“For ye haue heard of my [Paul] conuersation in time past, in the Iewish [Jewish] religion, how that I persecuted the Church of God [Christ’s Church] extremely, and wasted it” (Galations 1:13 1587 Geneva Version). 

Father, Paul is honest. Help us to be honest about our backgrounds when asked about it. This is how people can see the wonder that You did in our lives from a sin state to a saved state through Christ our Savior. Through Christ’s holy name we pray. Hallelujah~
