Monday Verses ~ You be Ready

“Nowe haue I sent the brethren, lest our reioycing ouer you shoulde bee in vaine in this behalfe, that yee (as I haue sayde) be readie: Lest if they of Macedonia come with me, and finde you vnprepared, we (that wee may not say, you) should be ashamed in this my constant boasting” (2 Corinthians 9:3, 4 1587 Geneva Bible).

Father, as Disciples of Christ we should be watchful over the people to whom we have shared the Gospel, and they have decided to follow after Your Son. Please help us to remember our job to continue to disciple others through the difficulties of life in Earth. Through Christ’s holy name we ask. Thank You~
