Monday Verses ~ Christ Risen

I’ve used Geneva Bible so you will notice the Old English spelling.

“And so they which are a sleepe in Christ, are perished [if Christ did not rise from the dead]. If in this life onely wee haue hope in Christ, we are of all men the most miserable. But nowe is Christ risen from the dead, and was made the first fruites of them that slept” (1 Corinthians 15:18-20 1587 Geneva Bible, the second version).

Father, help us to study differing versions of the Scriptures. In this way we can find the most accurate messages that You gave to us. Please give us discernment in the process. Through Christ’s name we ask. Thank You~
