Monday Verses

“Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression. Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law [Judaens], but to that also which is of the faith [Christ] of Abraham; who is the father of us all” (Romans 4:15, 16 KJV).

Father God, we understand this simply. Abraham, in his faith, was chosen by You to begin the Tribes of Israel. So we Gentiles, after Christ’s death and resurrection, are chosen by faith in Christ. In Jesus’ holy name, we are joyful. Amen
