Last Holiday Season Bazaar
This last Bazaar of the season was amazing! I prayed that above all God would open up conversations about suicide loss and why I wrote my two memoirs. Not only did I have conversations about this difficult topic, I sold one of each of my memoirs. In all, I sold ten books mostly the Bible stories for children!
This was by far the best book signing I’ve had. The people who live on the Oregon coast here and come to these bazaars are open and friendly. I enjoy the chats and conversations. This time, I even had two people tell me “great job” and “keep writing”. How kind! Especially since I wanted to quit out of a deep frustration of all the blocks that came my way to get this new book published, “27 Character Traits of the New Testament: Stories & Activities for Children”. I found this book needed many more edits than the first one.
Finally last night my illustrtator and I finalized the book cover and manuscript and Ingram Spark accepted the book. Now I wait to receive my digital copy to look over for any errors. After that, I will purchase the proof and go over the print copy.
This writing journey that God has given to me is many times difficult. And I would have quit long ago but I understood He gave me a job and I have to complete it. I remember the rewards to this job.
Love this!
Thank you, Reda!
