Friday Verses ~ Your Zeal

“For as touching the ministring to the Saints, it is superfluous for me to write vnto you. For I knowe your readinesse of minde, whereof I boast my selfe of you vnto them of Macedonia, and say, that Achaia was prepared a yeere agoe, and your zeale hath prouoked many” (2 Corinthians 9:1, 2 1587 Geneva Bible).

Father, as Disciples of Christ, in our zeal for Your Word and Your ways can uplift, encourage, and draw others closer to You. Please help us to work for You and rest when we are done for the moment. Through Christ’s holy name we ask. Hallelujah~
