“For ye suffer [as] fooles gladly, because that yee are wise. For ye suffer, euen if a man bring you into bondage, if a man deuoure [devour] you, if a man take your goods, if a man exalt himselfe, if a man smite you on the face” (2 Corinthians 11:19, 20 1587 Geneva Version).
Father, others can and do harm us throughout our lifetime. We suffer because of these things. Please help us to not fall by the wayside because of these sufferings. Help us to not give up on You or Your holy Son. Through Christ’s name we ask. Hallelujah~
